Information We Collect

We collect information you give us and information needed to look up a property:

• Name, email address, and phone number, when you choose to provide them
• Property address, and the lot, map, and site details that come back from a lookup
• Layouts you save, review requests you send (including a snapshot of the layout), and messages you submit
• Payment details when you pay a deposit, collected by our payment provider on its checkout page
• A visitor id stored in your browser so we do not ask for your email again, plus the time you agreed to this policy and whether you opted in to updates

How We Use Your Information

• Respond to your inquiry, site review, or saved layout
• Look up zoning, lot, flood, soil, and map information for an address you enter
• Run your portal account and process a deposit you choose to pay
• Send GuestADU updates and offers only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time. A contact form or a review request is a request for a reply, not a marketing subscription.
• Protect the site from abuse and understand whether the tools are working

Your Property Address

When you look up an address, that address or its coordinates is sent to public-record and map services so we can show the lot. Those services do not receive your name, email, or phone. The map on the site is loaded from Google, so your browser also sends Google the usual technical data, such as your IP address.

Service Providers

We use the following providers to operate Guest ADU. Each one handles information only to perform the service described.

• Supabase stores portal accounts, projects, uploaded files, saved layouts, and the visitor record from the site tool (email, optional name and phone, the property you looked up, and your consent choices).
• Stripe processes the deposit. Stripe receives your email and payment details on its hosted checkout page.
• Resend delivers email, including review confirmations and portal sign-in messages.
• Google Maps shows the property map from the address or coordinates.
• Airtable, while it is still in use, stores messages you send us, placement records, site-review requests (including a snapshot of your layout), and the out-of-area waitlist.
• Vercel hosts this website and keeps request logs. Railway hosts the lot-lookup service, which stores the address you submit and the lookup result so the check can run.
• County assessor and GIS services, FEMA, USGS, and the U.S. Census geocoder receive the property address or coordinates (not your name or email) to look up lot lines, flood, soil, and map data.
• Living Property Designs' operations system receives site-review requests you submit. After you agree to this policy on the site tool, it also receives the visitor details needed to follow up: name, email, phone if you provided it, address, and your consent choices.
• ClickUp, our project workspace, can receive a task when an address lookup runs. That task includes the property address and, when you have provided them, your name, email, and phone, so our team can follow up. We are retiring that automatic task. While it is still part of the lookup service, ClickUp is used only for our own follow-up, not for other companies' marketing.
• Cal.com is a separate scheduling page. If you book a call, Cal.com collects what you enter there.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: a sign-in session for the portal, a cookie that ties saved layouts to this browser, and a cookie that remembers your visitor id and that we already asked for your email. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party ad pixels on this site.

Marketing Email

Updates and offers are optional. The box is unchecked unless you check it. If you opt in, we record the time. You can opt out later, and we record that too. To stop messages, use the unsubscribe link or email us at the address below.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including keeping service keys on our servers rather than in the browser. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Retention and Your Rights

We keep information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide the services you asked for, and meet legal and accounting duties. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will honor a deletion request unless we need to keep a record for a legal reason.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date and version. If you agree again on the site tool, we store the version you agreed to.
